In plain words
What people come in for
This is what people tell us when they book. It is not a list of conditions, and nothing on it is a promise.
Nights that do not rest you
Trouble falling asleep, waking at three, or sleeping a full night and still feeling worn.
A mind that keeps running
Thoughts that will not settle, long after the work is done for the day.
Feeling on edge or worn thin
A short fuse, a tight chest at the end of a day, or a general sense of too much.
A hard season
A move, a loss, a long stretch of deadlines, or the weeks after a big change.
Feeling low or flat
A heavy stretch where it is hard to feel much. Come as you are, and tell your doctor too.
Something quiet to add
People who already see a doctor or a therapist and want one more calm thing in the week.
What ear acupuncture does not do
It is not therapy, and it does not replace medicine, counseling or care for a sleep disorder. If your sleep or mood has been bad for weeks, or is getting worse, please see your doctor or a therapist as well.
If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), any time. In an emergency, call 911.
Not sure it is for you?
Write or call with a question. Ismael is glad to say so if a session is not what you need.
