Ear seeds
The same five points, with no needle
Ear seeds are tiny seeds or beads on a small round of tape. Ismael places one on each of the five points instead of a needle, and you sit with the group as usual.
What they are
Small seeds or beads, each on a patch of tape no bigger than a lentil. They sit on the surface of the ear.
How they are placed
Ismael cleans the ear and presses each one on the point. You feel a little pressure, and that is all.
How long they stay
Usually a few days. Ismael tells you when and how to take them off, and keeps the instructions on a card.
Who they suit
Anyone who would rather skip needles, anyone trying a session for the first time, and anyone who wants a gentle option on a tender day.
Good to know
Press, don't rub
You can press a seed gently between sessions if you like. If the skin gets red, itchy or sore, take it off and tell Ismael.
Tell us first
Allergies to tape or adhesives, very sensitive skin, or an ear piercing that has not healed. Pregnancy and blood thinners matter for needles, so mention them either way.
What it does not do
Ear seeds are not therapy and do not replace medicine. See your doctor if your sleep or mood keeps getting worse, and call 911 in an emergency.
Want to try seeds first?
Say so when you reserve a seat, and Ismael will have them ready.
