Ismael Torres

Licensed acupuncturist and owner

Ismael leads every group himself, and he keeps the room small on purpose.

Ismael is a licensed acupuncturist who offers the five-point ear protocol in small groups and one on one. He keeps sessions plain: a quiet room, five points in each ear, and no pressure to talk or to explain yourself.

Marigold is a one-person practice. The person who greets you is the person who places the needles, so he can tell you what he is doing and stop when you ask.

What he offers

  • Group ear sessions
  • Ear seeds
  • Private ear sessions
  • Licensed acupuncturist · NM License no. 000000

The room

Six chairs, soft light and no hurry

The practice is on the ground floor of a small building on Central Avenue in Los Alamos, a short drive from White Rock and about an hour from Santa Fe.

The room is kept quiet on purpose. There is no music unless the group asks for it, the lights stay low and the chairs face the window. Phones go on silent, and Ismael answers questions before and after a session, not during.

What to expect from the room

  • Recliners with blankets and pillows

  • A step-free way in from the street

  • Water and tea afterward

  • No incense or strong scents

A quiet room with leather recliners, folded blankets, lamps and a shelf of plants
